1. boss farm ...no secret, cuz u need rare items to sell in the 1st place
items that sell most:
crystals, lv 2/lv 3 gems , bronzewares, holyboxes, skillbooks,holystones....
2. start working on your profession
u dont exactly need rare recipes, but rare ones will get in more gold.....
eg:
blacksmithing: lv 70-80 soulstones sell (in gold) like hot cakes cuz everyone wants their mount to have that cool armor on...
scholarship: everyone needs hoes, shovels, arrows etc to get materials in romance island ( demonic hoes etc will earn u some gold, the others will get plenty of silver in )
alchemy: everyone wants a potions for their pot build, or wonderland....so super HP potions sell for gold too..
my friend used to make about 500 potions per week, they sell decently...1gold per piece on my server....
mythcrafting: most people save up and buy the redlovers sets and such fancy stuff from the mall....
so your customers will mostly be below lv 80..so dont expect much gold...u can sell well in silver though (the cheongasm is popular amongst girls though)...
by experience, go for blacksmithing(mount stuff sells the best) and make an alt do scholarship( so u dont need to buy hoes)
3. make MANY alts !!! u will need them for ROMANCE ISLAND where u can collect materials for profession...please do romance island and treasure island religiously...
alternative uses for alts:
A. while farming spiderqueen or the bull....and even the argolis/nemea forest/derveni/platea bosses (if u are lv 125+ u'll need lowbie alts)
B. keep an alt full time in the main city and have him stall all the goods u sell, while u carry on with your game, only keep his PM on (so that u can go through the offers people make)
C. make an alt in the opposing faction aswell (even lv 1 will
do fine!)
u can make inter-faction trades fast thanks to the duel arena..... having an alt in the opposing faction will increase your marketbase too and keep u updated on the pricing and demands of the opposing faction
so if your FIRE LOTUS 3 has no buyers in sparta, u can still find a buyer in athens...
some guy in athens was willing to shell out 500g for flash chop 3 once, coincendently i found out and bought FC 3 for 300g in a spartan stall and sold to him...200g went to my pocket LOL...
4.PLEASE LEVEL UP!! LOL...
either stay lv 89 and be Nimini King or go all the way to 120...i see many strong rank7+ players in the lv 100-119 range..."we want suit points" they say, getting to lv 120 fast will get u more quests and much more EXP...but the main point is that u can do WONDERLAND, MEDUSA, LELANTINE DOG FARMING (lv 130 dogs) and get some rare stuff !!! lv4 emerald pieces sell well about 35-45gold per piece, atleast on my server (ZPAACV)also, u can sell off your extra rubies...
TIP for mages: while making alts, start as champ, to lv up super fast... and later switch to priest after lv 120, u can use the free class shift permit, get healing on gears via compounding (other stats matter little) get heal 4, manashield 4 atleast, and use it for luring mobs and healing your mage in lelantine farm, it really helps to solo altanis aswell
also, while u afk, be sure to AFK near the boss spawn area, i always AFK at the crocodile area in derveni...so if u missed a boss...and the boss farmer returns to kill it, u can kick his butt and get the boss( and the rest of the bosses, cuz usually one guy gets them all)
for this being 120+ helps cuz u get the advantage of class suit..and most boss farmers are nimini dudes...
5.ADVERTISE!!
while u race, u can keep flashing your rare items in polis chat to see if there are any buyers, if the item is ULTRA RARE! then u can put it one of your apprentices and use up the Bgold he gets after lv 50 to auction it with golden iris...
when u stall an item with your alt, always write "PM OFFERS"
and switch off all other chats, so that people can send in their offers and u can get back to them later
6. NEVER be in a hurry to sell off your rare items for less than what its worth!!!!
i once sold FIRE LOTUS 3 for a cheap 350gold cuz many had it for 400g on their stalls...but a week later, a maller offered 750gold for it and somehow nobody had it that time, i felt sooo noob lol...
7. BE NICE TO CUSTOMERS!!!! be polite, never be rude, or any self respecting guy will never buy from u again, no matter how much he needs it...
8. NEVER OVERPRICE!!! ...some people stall lv2 crystals for 75gold while the market price is 55gold...if u do stuff like that ,people won't even look at your stall, they'll assume that its overpriced!!!
9.SELL IN BULK , always sell items like crystals, wares etc in bulk,
eg : a guy selling a singlr lv 2 xtal for 65g will find it hard to sell (cuz 65g is high, most buy for 45-55g)
but a guy selling 50 lv2 xtals for 65g each will find many mallers drooling over it.....
10. for champs : u can lv up pets to lv 30 super fast and sell them to priests and warriors who take much longer to kill mobs....for this too being lv 120+ will help, cuz mobs will give much more EXP in thermopylae, evry weekend u can lv up 2-3 pets to lv 30 atleast
11.LAST and most important :
when a nice new event comes involving catching new mobs or killing them for some rare drops...make the most of it... FARM LIKE HELL and make quick money....!!!!!
by my experience, event items sell at a good price at the beginning days of the event...prices peak mid-way through the event (when unlucky mallers shell out huge $$$ for them) and then prices drop towards the end part of the event cuz of stock clearance (by that mallers have spent all their gold)...
